Fellow Thrill Seeker!
New York, New York! Welcome to what I believe to be the greatest city in the world. I have called NYC home since 1996 and I am proud of it. So much information is available about this town, here’s what I can tell you. First-timers, do a three day extended weekend in the fall. The weather is mild, brisk and the colors of the leaves are fantastic! Get ready to spend money and feel good about it! Take a look at the info below and watch the videos, they will help you plan a fantastic trip to my hometown!
Sincerely,
Erik

THE WEATHER
New York City is a four season destination. NYC is busy year-round. Winter is the value season while summer is generally peak season. However, the holiday season (from Thanksgiving to New Year's) is also rather busy. Check with the official tourism bureau and look at the event calendar. Big events tend to eat up a lot of hotel inventory. |

WHERE TO STAY, WHERE TO EAT AND WHAT TO DO
Midtown/East - When I have friends in town, I always recommend staying at The Intercontinental Barclay Hotel. The property is situated on 48th between Park & Lexington. This property is historic, convenient and just underwent a massive renovation. In addition, I love The Langham Hotel. It's luxurious, convenient and awesome! |
