april is here and Summer is inching closer!
It's hard to imagine April has already almost disappeared! That means the school year is about up and it's on to Summer activities. In March I took my girls to Walt Disney World, along with my sister, brother in law, my awesome nieces and their grandparents. It was a family affair, I tell ya! What a fantastic trip. We walked through the parks in perfect weather, rode the attractions, enjoyed the food, and had so much fun! I'll detail my trip along with some time and money saving tips in a future post. For now, have a wonderful week and remember to keep traveling!

My name is Erik Hastings, (a.k.a. Erik the Travel Guy) and I am an EMMY award-winning television personality who speaks directly to viewers who simply "get their vacations wrong". In addition to being a single dad of two amazing children, I am the host and managing editor of the internationally syndicated television series "Beyond Your Backyard" for public broadcasting stations (PBS) and other networks/VOD platforms.
