​Lake Murray is one of South Carolina's gems that's hidden in plain sight! While it's very close to the state capital of Columbia, it's got a little "off the beaten path" vibe. it's rustic, it's authentic and certainly unvarnished. My most recent trip was in the summer of 2019 to shoot an episode of "Beyond Your Backyard" for PBS.
