Hello My Rocky Top Thrill Seekers,
My first visit to Gatlinburg was earlier in 2017 and I brought my two young children. We had such a fantastic time! The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the US and for good reason, it is simply breathtaking. Gatlinburg is situated at the entrance of the park. More than 11 million people visit Gatlinburg (and the park each year) so plan accordingly. Summer is obviously its busiest season. Erik |

THE WEATHER
Fall is my favorite season to visit Gatlinburg. Spring is also magnificent - especially during the Dogwood season. Winter is usually mild but because of the higher elevation, Gatlinburg does receive annual snowfall. Summers can get muggy so pack hot-weather clothes. |
