Charlottesville, Virginia

If you know Cville, then you already know, this town is charming, diverse and filled with plenty to eat, see and do! It's located just two hours south of Washington DC along I64 and is a four season destination bursting with energy. The UVA campus is in the heart of the city and your trip must include a stroll on the grounds.

My last trip was in June of 2017 as part of our "Travel In Your Backyard" series and I simply loved the visit. I had some much fun shooting videos here, I keep coming back for more. Have fun!

Charlottesville is a college town, therefore Spring and Fall tend to be the busiest (and the prettiest). I suggest a trip in the summer. Fewer students and the hotels can be a couple dollars cheaper per night.
