Dear Travel Friend,
Boone is one of North Carolina's hidden gems. It's off the beaten path, it's rustic, it's authentic and certainly unvarnished. It's a four-season destination nestled in the Appalachian mountains and really enjoyed getting close to nature here. My most recent trip was in October of 2018 to shoot an episode of "Beyond Your Backyard" for PBS. Sincerely, Erik |
